Meet Our Executive Director
Mr. Eric Parks Jr
Mr. Eric Parks Jr is the proud Founder and Executive Director of Growth From The Bottom Foundation. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Eric understands firsthand the challenges many young men face. Growing up in a community that has experienced violence, hardship, and limited opportunities, he developed a deep passion for creating pathways that inspire hope, purpose, and lasting change.
Eric’s greatest inspiration comes from his family. As a devoted husband to his beautiful wife and a proud father of two sons, fatherhood transformed his perspective and ignited the vision for Growth From The Bottom Foundation. Wanting to build a better future not only for his own children but for generations of young men, he dedicated himself to creating an organization that provides mentorship, guidance, leadership development, and opportunities for personal growth.
Eric believes that a person’s beginning does not determine their destination. Through compassion, accountability, and community, he is committed to helping young men discover their potential, overcome obstacles, and become positive leaders who make a lasting impact.
Under Eric’s leadership, Growth From The Bottom Foundation continues to plant seeds of hope, cultivate resilience, and build stronger families and communities—one life at a time.
